Lots of Literature

So, one thing I came home with was books. Lots of them. At least for me, anyway. I've always enjoyed a good book, despite not reading a whole lot independently. Currently I'm in the second book of A Song of Ice and Fire series. It's pretty damn good so far, I can hardly put it down. Apparently a new volume is coming out not too far from now, so that's awesome. Before I found out, I always figured there were only four books in the entire series.

Next in line is the Hobbit and the Lord of the Rings trilogy. I've seen the films plenty of times, but I've yet to read the books. I've been hearing from people that it's a little bit of a tricky read, but I'm excited to finally see it in its original form. I hope I won't be comparing it to the movies the whole time. Even in that case, I'm sure I'll enjoy it nonetheless.

  1. Dragon Lance Test of the Twins is my favorite book, also Lord of the rings books are in my opinion boring, the movie is better y simply dont care much for Tolkiens 50 pages voyage from the river bank to my home telling me how the sky is blue, the rocks are wet and fitting in a poem of why the rock is wet and the sky is blue.

  2. Just finished the series of Halo books. They were pretty awesome, actually. I enjoyed them a lot more than I did the games.

  4. I think people forget how good it feels to actually read a book. These past few years, I've been reading way too much in pdf form, that I forget sometimes how it feels to turn a page of a book in the anticipation.

  5. It does feel good! I've also read a thing or two on Adobe Reader and stuff, and I love the feeling when I can't wait to turn the page.
