Merry Christmas!

Hey everyone, just wanted to post a little something for the holidays. I had a great Christmas, and I hope everyone enjoyed themselves! I should get back into the swing of posting updates more often, so keep checking for more stuff. In the meantime, I need to sleep off my food coma. Take care, everyone!

Dream Log #7

I haven't updated this in a long time, but I hope this one will make up for it a little bit. So, this dream (which I've just woken up from) starts with me going off to ride a bike around my city, even though my parents didn't really want me to. At first, everything was normal. Other than a small feeling of being lost, nothing much was happening. Then, I decided to try and take some sort of shortcut through what appeared to be a construction site. There was gravel on the ground for a mile or so it seemed, and I figured that it wouldn't be such a good idea after all, but before I could turn myself around, a bunch of the men working there came into view. I immediately got this sinking feeling in my chest as they started smirking at me. Then two girls came up near me while this one man tried to approach and I begged them to help me. They seemed nonchalant, but they told the men to back off before disappearing somewhere behind me. That seemed to stop him for a moment until I got up - I don't remember how I'd fallen - and made for the door. He tried to grab me and I somehow jumped up into a top shelf of a closet that I guess was next to me, kicking my legs and lashing belts and anything else I could grab at him. After a few  minutes, he sort of fell over and I ran back out the door I'd come in from, only to find that I was now in my neighborhood. I could hear my mother calling my name as I tried to get to my house. I saw flashing lights as I turned the corner to my driveway, but instead of a regular police car, it was a limo with a bunch of lights attached to it. Then, I noticed that Lady Gaga was standing right in the middle of my driveway. I ran up to her and she hugged me before stepping back and beginning a speech that I couldn't seem to make out. As if that wasn't strange enough, Wanda Sykes and Barack Obama joined her. I was a little stunned that these people knew about me being lost for a day, let alone would come to my house right as I returned.

And that's when I woke up. It was the clearest dream I've had in a while, and I literally woke up ten minutes before posting this, so it's definitely fresh in my mind. As always, feel free to comment or ask questions below, I'll make sure to answer!

Holidays

It's been a disgustingly long time since I've updated this, yet again, and I apologize for that. To be completely honest, I haven't been having very many dreams lately and I've been busy with some other things. While I still don't have anything to report now dream-wise, I thought I'd post since Thanksgiving is right around the corner. Are any of you looking forward to it? Who are you spending it with? Leave a comment below, and as always, questions and comments are deeply encouraged.

Have a good turkey day tomorrow!

Dream Log #6

Last night's dream was another weird one. Sort of funny, but weird. I was in some sort of classroom, no one really doing much of anything, when me and a few other girls randomly transformed into Pokemon. From there, we all began to fly around the room, screaming and laughing. It seemed to last for quite some time, at least a few hours.

I know it's a little short, but there wasn't much else that I remember aside from that. Has anyone ever dreamed something weird like this? Ever turned into your favorite Pokemon? Leave a comment below!

Dream Log #5

It seems that lately I've been going back into my pattern of not dreaming a whole lot. When I first started this log, I was dreaming almost every night and had at least something that I remembered to write down. Apologies for this, as I've noticed quite a few people are interested in this subject. A bit of good news, however,  is that I do remember a little bit from last night's dream.

The first thing that comes to mind is seeing and hearing a lot of birds. It wasn't for very long, barely a glimpse, but I noticed they were black and irritatingly loud, most likely crows. I also recall being in the back parking lot of my dad's apartment complex looking at the sky, which seemed unusually gray, as though it was about to rain. It was one of the few times out of these logs that I was actually seeing things in the first-person perspective, as I normally see myself in the third-person.

I know it's not a lot, but I didn't want to go a week or more without at least a small update, so here it is. As always, thank you for the interest and support. If you have any questions, make sure to leave a comment below and I'll answer it.

Dream Log #4

Last night's dream was a little weird, even considering the others I've posted on here. It's also a bit brief, but I remember a couple things from such  a short amount of time.

The first thing that comes to mind is that I'm suddenly on a ship. A big ship, filled with pirates. They didn't seem to be the pillaging sort, though, and instead they sorta just mulled around the deck and sang songs. None of which I remember, of course. All of a sudden, the waves start to pick up and the waters turns to this ominous gray color. We're all holding onto a part of the ship, and for whatever reason, I decided it was a good idea to cling to the mast and throw this big sword into the ocean. Almost immediately after this, I hear a crazy techno song playing, though it doesn't seem to affect the pirates in the least. I can also vaguely remember some sort of accident that involved a larger type of car and me somehow pushing it off of the harbor that it crashed near to.

Despite not remembering a whole lot from this dream, I can somehow feel that there was a lot going on. Tell me what you think. Thanks for all the support.

Update

Apologies for not making a new post in a while. I've been preoccupied with some other things, along with not really remembering much of my dreams lately. I'll start to post again on a regular basis with what I can remember, even if it's just little unimportant bits.

For instance, last night I could swear I remember I was shaving an orange. Make of that what you will, and thanks for following.

Dream Log #3

Aha! I remembered a good amount of the dream I had today. It seems that since I've been keeping this log, I've been dreaming more often.

So, the first part I remembered was being on a plane with a few people that I can remember seeing later. From what I can remember, the ride didn't last very long. It was me, two other girls, and a boy, all appearing to be in highschool. Some time later, I was hanging out with the group in the terminal while we waited for our connecting flight, when all of a sudden my mother comes out of one of the doors. I wasn't entirely sure how she got there, bit I distinctly remember her saying that she wanted to be with her mother, whom I suppose was somehow on the same flight as I was. I didn't see her for the rest of the dream except for a brief moment later on where I passed them sitting together in a cluster of chairs.

Between there and the next part I remember is a bit fuzzy. Though this next part is a little odd. However long it had been from there, I was suddenly in my middle school gymnasium, where everyone was dressed for prom or some-such. What I distinctly remember the most from this part was that the people I'd been with were there, and that I was wearing a bright red dress. It was then that one of aforementioned girls beckoned me to the floor (myself and everyone else had been sitting in the bleachers) where I guess some sort of choreographed dance number was going to take place. There, everyone on the floor opened with the chicken dance before breaking off into a waltz or something similar. I had no idea what I was doing from there, so I kind of just walked around in places that seemed like I would fit in with the dance. Towards the end, it was just me and the same two girls from before, and the one in the middle ran through the group of boys that I supposed was part of the routine. Finally, me and the remaining girl ran to our respective partner, where we were spun around a number of times. After that, I don't remember anything else from the gymnasium portion of the dream.

Now, the "ending" was a little weird. It was very brief, but I remember it clearly. A worn book with a burgundy cover shut itself, and two strange creatures appeared and started bantering between themselves. They were both snake-like creatures, though they appeared especially slimy. One was very large and the other, I assumed, was its offspring and much smaller. I can't remember exactly what they said, but they did talk for a short time before disappearing under this lake that had suddenly appeared. That's when I woke up.

Yeah, this was a long one, but I'm glad I remembered as much as I did. Any questions or comments can be left below. I didn't realize before now that I can comment back and stuff, so yay for me! Once again, thanks for all the advice and interest concerning this subject. I really appreciate it!

Dream Log #2

Today I remember my dream a little better than last time. It's still not very much, but considering I normally don't remember the majority of what I dream about, I thought it was worth posting. I saw myself in the third person running to the bathroom and being sick in the toilet. I was really hungry when I fell asleep, so maybe that has something to do with it. Another strange thing I recall is that parts of the roof of my house were missing. Everything seemed a lot darker too, despite the fact that it was daytime, since I could still see everything around myself. Now, this one could be attributed to waking up for a brief period, but I could swear I heard my mother's voice. Whether it was her trying to wake me up or if she really was in my dream somewhere, I don't know.

That's all I have for you guys this time. Tell me what you think! Also, once again thanks for the interest and comments. It really means a lot.

Dream Log #1

So in my last post, a lot of you seemed interested in my dream rambling. So I figured that I could keep a log of all the dreams I remember. Some of you guys even suggested this, so I shall do it!

I don't really remember much of the dream I had last night, though I do remember tiny details. Though it doesn't make much sense by itself, I remember seeing crowds of people moving around, perhaps like on a heavily-frequented crosswalk or something. Or maybe it was inside somewhere. I really can't remember that part, but I just remember seeing a lot of people around. I wasn't even sure if it was "myself"surrounded by people, or if I was even there.

I know it's not a lot, but I wanted to get this thing going. I'll definitely make sure to post any other remembrances of my dreams from now on. Thanks a lot for the comments and interest :]

Dreams

I'm never one to really dream a lot, or at least remember them. When I do, though, it seems completely real to me, even if the situation isn't at all believable. Often if my dream-self is doing something I would never normally do, I somehow feel apprehension or guilty even when I'm asleep. Of course, it's all better when I wake up because hey! It's only a dream. Yeah.

Another little interesting thing I've learned is how to completely force myself to wake up. It's a bit disorienting, but it works if the dream I'm having is on the nightmarish side. This doesn't happen a whole lot anymore, though. When I was a lot younger, I'd dream almost every night, and now I wouldn't doubt if it's once a month or less. Oh well. I just woke up and figured it'd be good to write about while it was still fresh in my mind.

Buzzing

Urgh, I think my sound card is broken or something. Whenever I abruptly close anything with sound, I get this annoying buzzing until I open something that's streaming or a video. By now I've pretty much gotten used to it, though.

Anyway. Mawnin'.

Faulty Appliances

Ever since I moved into my new house, all the usual household conveniences have had some problems one way or another. The heating unit that we have doesn't quite work and continuously makes a whistling noise that can be lethal combined with a headache. Being cold on top of that certainly doesn't set the right mood. If that wasn't enough right off the bat, the piping system is barely functional in the winter if water isn't constantly running somewhere in the house. When I was first informed of this, I didn't quite understand the magnitude of the potential problem, but I later realized that if such a thing were to happen, said pipes would more than likely rendered unusable until it the spring when it would be warmed up.

One of the few things that actually do work as intended is the stove, which I am happily surprised about. Though my only concern with that is the fact that the back of it is somewhat open and I'm not entirely sure on how intact and worn the wiring is. It sure would be a shame for me to be preparing a meal, when all of a sudden my entire block burst into flames or something. At least then maybe I wouldn't have to worry about paying taxes?
